Choosing Custom Fonts for a Custom Decal

Are you creating a custom quote, name or another custom text decal and cannot decide what font you want? First, check our font page and see if there is a font there that you like. If you are looking for something different, we refer many of our customers to a website called DaFont.com. It is a site with so many fonts it can sometimes be overwhelming, but we are going to give you a step-by-step guide to navigating DaFont.com.

First, go to the address bar at the top of your internet browser and type in DaFont.com (or click here).

You will then be directed to a page that has this logo in the upper left hand corner. If it does not, the web address may have been typed in incorrectly. Check the spelling!

Across the top of the site is a navigation menu. You can choose categories of fonts from handwritten and sans serif to groovy or holiday fonts.

fontcategories

Choose any of these categories that describe what type of font you are looking for.  For example, we will choose the “Handwriting” category. When that category is selected, you will see a list of fonts like this:

The names of the fonts are written in that particular font. Look through and see which one you like!

You can also type in some of your text into the “Preview: Type your text here” box:

There is a lot to look through on this site, we know. But we are sure you will find the perfect font for your custom decal!

**We cannot cut decals in fonts that are very very skinny or have a lot of detail or distressed looks to them like these:
